Smooth 4 and Iphone 12pro max. Has worked many times before but now after it connects to phone the screen has no picture. It is just black with the exception of the grid and the icons top and bottom. It is definately connected.

Any clue as to how to fix this problem?

In reply to Takaendesa. If you have it balanced correctly it is usually a bad motor. Check for firmware update before sending it back.

My Smooth 4 is just days old, its switching on but the arms are not raising the phone up. Help please

In reply to vlad teo. I have found the Smooth 4 motors overheat very fast if not balanced correctly. The phone must be completely balanced or this will happen.

Hello, I bought a smooth 4 second hand and I have a problem that I do not know how to solve. After a few minutes of smooth operation the main arm falls as if I closed the gimbal. Is there anything you can do about it or am I wrong about the settings?

My Zhiyun Smooth 4 has a problem with regard to its motor. it does not calibrate anymore but it is connected to the phone. I am using Samsung J7pro and Iphone 6 . I was using it before normally and had produced good videos. After a while, it became like this and I do not know the problem. I cannot use it anymore. It opens but the upper arms does not calibrate. It is just 8 month old. hope you’ll help me figure out the problem and solve it. Thank you

Emily Lowrey did a good job. But, she was holding back on how many problems there are with the Smooth 4 gimbal. If you use an iPhone the app works OK. If you are an Android user you will have lots of problems. Zhiyun has mislead people when they list a phone as compatible but don’t mention that most of the functions like the zoom wheel still do not work with the ZY play app. They should be ashamed of tricking so many people. They lost me as a future cosomer after being so deceptive.
