– New DJI Mini 2 Drone sold before release date by Best Buy. We get the unboxing video and some of the Mini 2 with 4k video specs.
DJI has changed the official name to DJI Mini 2 instead of DJI Mavic Mini 2.
The biggest upgrades we get over the Mavic Mini 1 with the new DJI Mini 2 are the 4K video and OcuSync 2.0.
DJI Mini 2 looks very close to its predecessor in terms of design. The new drone has what appears to be the same sensor and lens as the first version – a 1/2.3-inch 12MP sensor with a 24mm equivalent focal length and an f/2.8 aperture. This would lead us to believe that the only major image enhancements will come from the added detail supplied by that 4K resolution. Is the Mini 1 just crippled by software or is there better cooling in the Mini 2 to handle the 4k video?
