The Osmo Mobile 2 is quite the upgrade in design. It’s made of high-strength nylon, which is lighter than the plastic and magnesium makeup of the previous gimbal. On the bottom of the handle is a standard 1/4-inch thread tripod mount for easily locking this thing down or mounting other compatible accessory. You can also purchase a base, a tripod, and an extension rod mount to give you more options to add gear.
The Osmo Mobile 2’s battery life has been expanded to last to 15 hours. The gimbal will also charge your phone by way of a standard USB port on the rear of the body, and the gimbal itself charges by a micro USB port.
