Hohem iSteady Pro Modes:
Mode one – The default one, also called pan following – just follows you panning to the left or right. The rolling and tilting axis are locked in place.
Mode two – Panning and tilting – It makes smooth transitions to two axis, and what that remains locked is the rolling.
Mode three – Where you enter by three clicks and is confirmed by a three flashes that keeps all the dimensions locked. Good to use when you know your object is in front of you and staying centered in place. You can also apply compensations by way of the joystick at anytime.
You can use the all follow modes – buy pressing four times. It will follow your movements more smoothly compared to not using a gimbal.
Each of these modes is adjustable with the app.
The >Hohem iSteady Pro smartphone app is cross platform and works with the most recent iSteady models, like the Gear that is used for larger mirrorless or DSLR cameras. The app is Ok, and the controls varied that you may have to test a lot until you get the best settings for your own shooting style.
