It has come to our attention that the Zhiyun Smooth 4 gimbal’s release sale date has been delayed in the USA and other markets. It was scheduled to be released on April the 15th but has been pushed back to at least May 1st because of a few issues.

There seems to be a higher demand for the Smooth 4 than expected world wide. Zhiyun will start shipping from China first but unless you pay for expedited shipping, which can be quite expensive, it can take 2 weeks to a month to get anyway.
One big issue coming from early testers is the Zhiyun-tech ZY play app for Android is still not finished. They can only use basic functions with Android smartphones when using the ZY play app. There is a high probability that only Apple IOS users will have a well working gimbal when the Smooth 4 is released to the public. It may take months before Android users will get full use of their gimbals.
This info is coming direct from a few of the beta testers that have had the Smooth 4 gimbals for a few weeks now. As a Samsung phone user let’s hope the Android version of the ZY Play app is coming along faster than the news I am getting.
